West Buckland is a small, friendly and ambitious school where children are known, valued, safe and encouraged to make the most of every opportunity.

Our village setting, four primary classes and Nursery give us a strong sense of community. We know our children and families well, and relationships sit at the heart of everything we do. We want every child to feel happy, safe and confident, while being challenged to learn, explore and achieve.

Learning at West Buckland should spark curiosity and create memorable experiences. Our staff encourage children to ask questions, discover new interests, work together, have fun and develop the knowledge and confidence they need for the future.
